Santander is one of the thirty-two departments that make up the Republic of Colombia. Its capital is Bucaramanga. It is located in the northeast of the country, in the Andean region. With about 2,280,908 inhabitants in 2018, it is the sixth department by population. It receives its name in allusion to Francisco de Paula Santander, hero of the independence of New Granada.
Santander is characterized by the wide variety of parks it has, such as the Chicamocha National Park, El Gallineral Park, Cerro del Santisimo among other parks that will give you a fantastic experience in this department.

Curití is a municipality in the department of Santander, Colombia, it is part of the province of Guanentá.
The current urban area has an area of 42.94 hectares, it is made up of 10 neighborhoods, 56 blocks, 801 houses and 110 lots located around the central park. The Eastern Trunk Highway that connects Bucaramanga with Bogotá crosses it.

Barichara is a city in northern Colombia known for its cobblestone streets and colonial architecture. In the center is the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, made of sandstone and with a gold leaf altar. Other important churches include the whitewashed Chapel of Saint Anthony, built in the 19th century, and the Chapel of Saint Barbara, on a hill.
