Located in the western mountain range, this park is famous for its humid climate and cloud forests, making it the perfect home for a large number of bird species, many of them endemic. The endemic Chocoan Tangara del Tatamá, as well as the multicolored tanager, are some of the treasures that can be found here. The Chocó region, in general, is a point of unique biodiversity due to its isolation and humid ecosystem.
